We Have A FINISHED Bonus Room

Scott has been working VERY hard on finishing off the bonus room above our garage since last October. For whatever reason when the house was built they didn't finish it off. We were going to pay to have it done but realized that between Scott's brother David, my dad and Scott's dad that they all knew enough to help Scott finish it. We got a new air conditioner for the house in October so that it could also cool that room and then Scott got to work and has been working steadily since then on weekends or after work. He took a little break when Laine was born but started back up again soon after. They did everything from the electrical work, finishing framing it, putting up the insulation and sheet rock, priming, painting, and putting down baseboards. We got the carpet installed on Monday and we are so happy it's done! The plan is to put our computers up there, some of Laine's toys, and a treadmill. We originally were going to put a couch but have decided to not bother with that and eventually get Laine a bean bag or something so she can watch movies or something up there. I'm so proud of Scott. I know he's so relieved to have it done! I'll be adding the pics soon!
