15 months

Laine is 15 months old and I think this is my favorite time so far. She is learning so much right now, it seems like it is something new everyday. She makes me laugh every day and I know I'm a little biased but I think she is the cutest and funniest girl! She's been teething with her top 2 one year molars and one of her bottom incisors so we've had some rough times the last few weeks, but those are almost all the way broken through. Her bottom molars are swollen and will be starting to break through soon, but I'm hoping what I've heard about top teeth being worse than bottom is right. I just keep reminding myself that once these are all in than there won't be anymore molars until next year.
-she is talking more. Her new words are belly, hey (sounds like hey-ae), hi (sounds like hi-eee), buh-bye, good job, and more. Of course, it takes a minute to realize what she's saying but those are the ones we think we've figured out.
- she "reads" to herself
- she gibber gabbers alot!
- she is loving bath time (we've gone through phases were she wasn't to into it). She loves to play in her little bathtub even after we've drained all the water
- she is sleeping pretty good right now as long as there are several pacifiers in her bed and there is no teething pain.
- she goes to bed anywhere between 7:45 and 8:15 (depends on if she falls asleep on the way home from daycare) and wakes up anywhere between 5:30 am and 6:10 am so she usually gets 10 hours of sleep each night
-she's not a good napper at daycare. Her teacher said she's one of the first to fall asleep but usually wakes up after about 45 minutes.
-she's still a good eater. She seems to like casseroles the best which is good because we can try to sneak in something that she hasn't tried yet. She tried tuna casserole last weekend at my parents house and loved it
- still still LOVES fruit and seems to have a sweet tooth, but usually can't finish her dessert when I give her something for dessert (don't worry I don't give her dessert every night)
- she loves Sesame Street and it is the one show we can always count on that will calm her down if she's really fussy or just having a fit. Its the only show that will hold her attention for longer than a couple of minutes.
- she loves to be chased and to play especially with Scott. He can still get her to laugh more than anyone else
- she has moments where she is a daddy's girl, but overall is still very much a mommy's girl and is pretty clingy especially in the mornings before school and right when we get home.
- she loves playing outside and likes to go see our dog Roxy and our neighbor's dog Charlie. She waves to Roxy as soon as she goes outside
- she loves airplanes and gets very excited when she hears and sees one.
- she is still a dancer and will usually start dancing when she hears music
- she's definitely shy at first around everyone, but it doesn't take her long to warm up if you let her do it on her own. She's definitely stubborn and I've noticed that sometimes the more someone talks to her right away the longer it takes her to let go of me or Scott.
- her 2 most favorite things seem to be milk and her paci. She never turns down milk and still loves her paci although she is a little particular with them now and has her favorites
